On the BBS we are discussing a new imported brush made in Germany by the same company that makes the Coat Kings. The Mars Flexy is a slicker on the style of the Les Poochs. The [Mars] Flexy is smaller and much more flexible. Actual area of the working pad, however, is not much smaller than the LP pad. The "dohickey" on the back of the [Mars] Flexy brush is a "brake" for the bending of the flexible head. In terms of flexibility, the Mars Flexy is actually closer to the LP green headed brush for softer coats (or heavier handed groomers). Compared to the red Mat Zapper, the Flexy has more pins per inch, again more like the green LP.

I have only used my Mars Flexy for two days. So far, I am liking it a lot. It worked great on underarm mats and Bichon mats, and seemed to cause no discomfort. It requires the same sort of light, repetitive brush strokes that works with the LP. It costs $25 and can be found at: http://www.hppets.com

I received my Mars flexi brush today. Thank you so much. I love it and what's even better, my dogs love it, too! I have never been able to brush Genny's legs without her wiggling like a little worm but tonight she held still and let me brush everywhere. It was amazing.
